Protection for Tubs and Baths

3/4 th of a Gallon of Pro Tect Liquid Mask will cover a standard 5’ Tub. Our durable Pro Tect® Liquid Mask Tub Protection forms a "tough latex coating" over your tub, providing up to a 40 mil protection for tubs, showers, and other highly polished surfaces like porcelain, enamel, fiberglass, acrylic and glass.

How to Apply:

There are two main ways to put Pro Tect® Liquid Mask Tub Protection onto a tub or shower basin. You can paint or roll it on or spray it on with an airless sprayer. The most efficient way is an airless sprayer with over 2,500 psi. The Tub Protection is a water-based product, so no chemicals are needed to flush it out of the sprayer. We use a Greco X7 with a 17-18 tip when installing the product. If you want to apply Pro Tect® Liquid Mask Tub Protection by painting or rolling it on, there are some tricks and a "must-do" to properly protect your tub. You will have to do many coasts on the side walls. It's important to apply a thick coat, which can’t be done with one application by brush. You can get, Pro Tect's Tub Protection, thick enough on the flat surfaces, but the sides will run when the Liquid Mask is put on too thick. Start by applying a light coat. Come back when it has dried and apply another coat. You can always put more on so don't toss out any left overs.
